Two Factor Authentication or (2FA.  2FA is an authentication method ) is a security measure that requires the user to provide a second verification factor to gain access to the Cloudamize console.  This  This is a core component of a strong identity and access management (or IAM policy).  This  This helps to decrease the likelihood of a successful cyber attack.

What’s New

When you first open https://console.cloudamize.com/#/login.jsp, You will start by entering your User ID so that we can check if 2FA is setup prior to entering the rest of your credentials.

If 2FA is disabled, and you click on the Continue button, you will be prompted only to only enter your password.

When 2FA is enabled, you will be required to enter your password and the code from your authenticator app.

You will see a QR code displayed that you can scan with an authenticator of your choice, as long as it supports Timetime-based One Time Passwords, like one-time passwords. Authenticator applications include Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, OneLogin Protect, etc.

How to Use It

When 2FA is enabled, when you log in you will have to enter your password and the generated code from your Authenticator app to log in.

Enter your Login Email ID and click Continue.

How to Manage It

  1. Enter the code from your Authenticator app

  2. Click the Disable DISABLE button

Once you click the Disable DISABLE button, you will see a message MFA that says Two Factor Authentication is Disabled.
